What is a ceilidh?

A ceilidh (Pronounced KAY-lee) is one of the finest ways to celebrate a special occasion.

Ceilidhs (sometimes called barn dances) are social gatherings where people are encouraged to dance and have a great time with friends and new acquaintances. Originally of Celtic heritage, these joyful events are now a common choice for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries the world over.

If you are anxious about getting it wrong, don't worry - that's all part of the fun! At our shows you can rest assured there will always be a kindly caller on hand to guide you through the moves before the dance leaps into motion and also once it is underway. We do not have an in-house caller but prefer to consult our established network and tailor our caller to your occasion and location.
